How to play Pass Roun' Donkey
Pass Roun' Donkey is a passing game for 2 to 4 players. Collect four of a kind and lay it down. Don't be the last one holding cards.
The deal
The deck holds one group of four matching cards for each player. Everyone gets four cards.
Passing
Each turn you pass one card to the next player. Keep the cards that build toward four of a kind and pass the rest.
Laying down
When you hold four of a kind, lay them down. You are then out of the passing for that round, and the others keep passing. The last player who has not laid down loses the round.
Letters
Each round lost earns the next letter of DONKEY. The first player to spell the whole word loses the game.
Relay and Blitz
- Relay: players pass one at a time, in turn around the table.
- Blitz: everyone picks a card to pass, then all cards move at once.
